Privacy & Confidentiality

RxRada takes reporter privacy seriously. This page summarises how error report data and reporter identity are handled on the platform.

Reporter identity separation

  • Reporter identity (name, email, cadre, department) is stored in a completely separate database collection from the error report data.
  • The analytics dashboard, PDF exports, and data exports never include reporter identities.
  • Even administrators cannot see who submitted a specific report through the dashboard.

Data used in analytics

Only the following anonymised data from a report is used in analytics:

  • Error classification and types
  • Drug details
  • Patient demographics (age range, category, and gender only)
  • Prescription quality metrics
  • Detection and resolution information
  • Location and timing information

What is not shared

  • Reporter name
  • Reporter email address
  • Reporter professional cadre
  • Reporter department (as reporter identity)
  • Any personal notes submitted in Section G of a report

Compliance

RxRada complies with:

  • The PPB pharmacovigilance reporting framework
  • The Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019
  • Healthcare information privacy best practices
